Rural youth empowerment
Trainings, mentoring and local events that bring village youth out of isolation and into opportunity.
Countryside Youth Group works for the empowerment of villagers and the downtrodden — so that every young person and woman of the countryside reaches basic livelihood, human rights, literacy, health services and economic independence.
A group of young people active in youth work, based in İskenderun, Türkiye. Our rural development programmes have been growing since 2016.
Everything a rural young person needs to step forward: skills, mobility, confidence and a community that does not leave them behind.

Micro-level SHGs where women organise, learn, generate income and claim their rights together.
Computer teaching, employability and life-skill workshops delivered with non-formal methods.
Erasmus+ exchanges, training courses and forums — full support at every step of participation.
Youth and women from the countryside who are educationally aware, economically empowered, politically participative and distress-free — with equal access to health, human rights, training and employment, in a fair society without caste, creed, religious or gender discrimination.
To educate and train rural society — especially marginalised and vulnerable youth and women — and to protect them from abuse and exploitation, lifting them out of poverty and social and economic discrimination through their own capabilities, in cooperation with national and international partners.
To identify young people and women who need protection, care and support, organise them into micro-level Self-Help Groups, and channel the resources of government, NGOs, the international community and the corporate sector into real skills, education and a respectable standard of living.
Erasmus+ youth projects we have coordinated or partnered in since 2018 — several of them hosted in Türkiye.
